Se há debate que se apresenta efusivo na pós-modernidade, a necessidade de nomenclaturas é provavelmente a mais emergente. Entre elas, o Património revela especial destaque, pois a este está ligado tanto a vertente “contabilística”, como a vertente “humana”. O Património refere a Identidade, ou será a Identidade que “identifica” o Património? Sabemos que o legado histórico cria, legitimidade e historicamente, a própria palavra “identidade”, que está ligada a essa conexão. Sob esta temática lançam-se várias discussões, entre o que é Património e como é que este se transmite, não perdendo a identidade, mas gerando a partir de si mesmo um produto. Neste artigo, pretende-se criar uma linha de pensamento reflexivo, que permita ao leitor o reconhecimento de cada uma das temáticas bem como da sua fusão, a par com novas formas de transmissão das mesmas.

If there is a debate that is effusive in postmodernity, the need for nomenclatures is perhaps the most prominent. Among them, Patrimony is particularly noteworthy, since it is linked to both the accounting aspect and the “human” aspect. Does Heritage refer to Identity, or is it Identity that “identifies” Heritage? We know that it is always the historical legacy that legitimizes “whatever” and historically, the very word “identity” is linked to what something is. Under this theme, several discussions are launched, between what is Heritage and how it is transmitted, not losing its identity, but generating from itself a product. In this article, we intend to create a line of reflective thinking, which allows the reader to recognize each of the themes along with their fusion, alongside new ways of transmitting.
